TG4G respects intellectual property and complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and the PRC Regulations on the Protection of the Right to Network Dissemination of Information. 2. Required Elements

Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A), a complete DMCA notice must contain the following six items:

  1. An electronic or physical signature (of the copyright owner or an authorized agent).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work (title, registration number / ISBN / URL, etc.).
  3. The exact URL of the infringing material on this site (precise to the page; homepage or section index pages are not accepted).
  4. The complainant's contact information (address, phone, email).
  5. A good-faith statement ("I have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.").
  6. A statement of accuracy and a perjury warning ("I declare, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate, and I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner.").

A notice missing any of these items does not constitute a valid notice, and we are under no obligation to act on it.

4. False Claims / Perjury Warning

Please note: under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice shall be liable for the damages, attorney's fees and court costs incurred by the alleged infringer or service provider as a result.

Please be sure to confirm that:

  • You are indeed the copyright owner, or an authorized agent.
  • The use complained of does not qualify as fair use, fair quotation, news reporting, criticism or commentary, or any other statutory exemption.
  • The material complained of is genuinely the copyrighted work you claim, and not in the public domain or independently created.

A provider not wanting to be listed is not the same as copyright infringement. If you would like to be removed from the directory, please use the delisting channel at /en/contact and do not misuse the DMCA process.

5. Our Process

  1. Within 3 business days of receiving a notice, we verify whether all required elements are present.
  2. For notices with all required elements, we remove or disable the material complained of within 10 business days.
  3. We also notify the affected content uploader (if any).
  4. We retain a full record of the notice for 5 years for legal traceability.
  5. If the same complainant submits more than 3 invalid notices in total, subsequent notices will no longer be processed.

6. Counter Notice

If you are the lawful uploader or rights holder of the material complained of and believe it was taken down by mistake, you may submit a counter notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g):

After receiving a valid counter notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the original complainant does not file a lawsuit within 10 business days, we will restore the removed material within 10-14 business days.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(i)(1)(A), TG4G enforces a repeat-infringer account termination policy: any user found to have infringed multiple times within a reasonable period (typically ≥ 3 valid notices) will have their account permanently terminated and their related contributions removed.

9. For PRC Users

If you submit a notice under Article 14 of the PRC Regulations on the Protection of the Right to Network Dissemination of Information, in addition to the six items above you must also provide:

  • Proof of rights (copyright registration certificate / proof of first publication / publishing contract, etc.).
  • Material constituting preliminary evidence that the infringement exists.
  • The rights holder's written signature / seal.

The handling process is the same as for the DMCA.
