Background (Why we built this)

There has long been no systematic, trustworthy, continuously updated directory of overseas resources for non-native buyers. To pick a VPS you read LowEndTalk plus a dozen personal blogs; to choose SaaS you cross-check Product Hunt, G2 and Capterra; to find a cross-border payment provider you wade through the marketing pages of Stripe, Airwallex and Payoneer. Every vertical has its own insider circle, and newcomers — as well as operators, developers and founders who just want a fast side-by-side comparison — struggle to get structured data in one place.

TG4G fills that gap. We use crawlers plus large language models to normalize service listings from nine public sources, then layer on an editorial team and community feedback for fact-checking. The result is:

• Unified fields — CPU / RAM / price / rating / China accessibility / refund window and 30+ more fields, comparable across categories.
• Live filtering — the URL is the state, so any filter combination can be shared or subscribed to via RSS.
• In-depth reviews — long-form analyses compiled from public information, for reference only.
• Transparent sourcing — every record is labeled with its data origin (manual / hybrid scan / Google AI Mode / public).

Rating Methodology (How we score)

The TG4G overall score uses a 0–10 scale, computed as a weighted blend of five dimensions:

Scores are recalibrated weekly. If multiple independent users report that a provider materially differs from its current listing, we trigger a manual re-review and publish the update within seven business days.

Data Sources (Where the data comes from)

Our directory blends nine sources:

1. Vendor official sites — pricing and configuration pages crawled and refreshed daily.
2. LowEndTalk / WebHostingTalk — public hosting-community review threads.
3. Product Hunt / G2 / Capterra — SaaS and tooling ratings.
4. Google "AI Mode" search — side-by-side comparison answers.
5. Public datasets — domain registrations, IP ranges and geolocation.
6. Community channels — first-hand feedback from user communities.
7. Crunchbase / LinkedIn — company headquarters and size information.
8. User submissions — corrections and additions sent via email.
9. Manual editorial entries — added after review and proofreading.

Each record exposes its primary origin through the data_source field.

Our Team & Process (E-E-A-T)

TG4G runs a two-tier "automated collection + human review" workflow:

• Automation layer — Python crawlers fetch our nine data sources daily; an automated pipeline handles translation, classification and first-draft review notes.
• Human-review layer — our editorial team spot-checks entries (target: 5% of the full catalog sampled, 100% of new additions reviewed) and resolves user corrections.
• Community layer — readers can submit corrections by email, and standout contributors are credited on our contributors list.

The core team is based in the Asia-Pacific region, with several members coming from established hosting-review communities, and has been compiling overseas-resource directories for more than five years.
