Co-Op is a goal execution system built for startup teams. It is positioned not as a traditional project management tool or task list, but as a way to help teams establish an “operating rhythm.” Its core use case is connecting company, team, and individual OKRs with weekly priorities, weekly check-ins, and quarterly retrospectives, so OKRs do not remain buried in a document created at the start of the year.
The product offers cascading OKRs, allowing company goals to be broken down into team goals while linking individual work back to the overall direction. Weekly Top 5 asks each member to commit to up to five priorities per week and tie them to relevant OKRs, emphasizing focus on key work rather than maintaining a large task list. Weekly Check-in is used to surface progress, outcomes, and blockers, giving managers visibility into team status. At the end of each quarter, Retrospective completes the feedback loop with a structured review process. The AI can read OKRs, check-ins, and priorities across the organization to answer questions about risks, quarterly outcomes, next week’s focus, and more, while also automatically generating a Week in Review report.
Co-Op is currently in beta. The website clearly states that it is free during the beta period and that no credit card is required to get started. Formal plans, seat pricing, and whether billing will be based on teams or users have not yet been disclosed, so its long-term value for money remains to be seen.
The main advantage is that the product is designed around continuous OKR execution, with a clear operating cadence. Setup is claimed to take less than one hour, making it suitable for early-stage teams that do not want to introduce a complex performance management system. AI-generated weekly reports and Q&A may also help reduce status meetings. The main drawbacks are the limited amount of public information available: there is no clear detail on third-party integrations, permission granularity, data security and compliance, API access, or self-hosting options. As a beta product, there is also uncertainty around stability, support, and future pricing.
Co-Op is explicitly aimed at startup teams of 10–75 people, from Seed to Series B, especially companies that already have OKRs in place but struggle with execution and follow-up. Large enterprises, heavily regulated industries, or teams requiring complex approval permissions should evaluate it carefully. Access from mainland China, payment methods, and localization support have not been disclosed, so it is recommended to test network availability in practice. Alternatives to compare include Notion/飞书 OKR, PingCode, Teambition, Lattice, 15Five, Perdoo, and similar tools.
