Jobcard is field service and trades business management software from Jobcard Pty Ltd. Its core workflow is “quotes to jobs to invoices”: a closed loop from quoting and dispatch to job execution and invoicing. It is mainly aimed at small and midsize businesses that need coordination between mobile field workers and the back office, such as electricians, garden maintenance providers, glaziers, handymen, locksmiths, and plumbers.
The feature set is fairly comprehensive. The back office includes quotes, service job cards, invoices, checklists, document storage, purchase orders, inventory control, and POS. The field Jobs module supports tasks, invoices, documents, photos, signatures, and Google Maps. The mobile module is based on HTML5 and is said to work on iPhone and Android, making it suitable for field staff to view jobs, create job cards, and issue invoices. On the inventory side, it supports multiple stock locations, multiple suppliers per product, and basic order processing. For printing, it offers Print Server and highlights support for Brother printers and label-printing scenarios.
Pricing is relatively transparent. The Standard Edition subscription starts at AUD$330/month and includes 10 concurrent users. Quarterly and annual payment options are available, as well as perpetual licenses starting from AUD$9,990. The hosted jobcard.cloud version starts at AUD$110/month and includes 3 concurrent users, with servers in Australia and daily offsite backups. Deployment flexibility is a highlight: it can be deployed on-premises, in a private cloud, with third-party hosting, or via the official cloud. However, the server requirements are Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016 or later, and cloud hosting costs are not included in the Standard Edition pricing.
The strengths are a complete field service business workflow, mobile support, a smooth quote-to-invoice process, and user-controlled data. It is a good fit for companies that do not want to mix their business data into a shared SaaS environment. The drawbacks are also clear: installation and training are not included in most packages; third-party integrations appear limited, with only Google Maps, cloud platform, and printing-related information visible; and there is no disclosed API, webhook support, role-based permissions, encryption details, or compliance certifications. The Enterprise Edition is still marked as Coming Soon, and MSSQL/Postgres support is not yet officially available.
Jobcard is better suited to local Australian trades, repair, installation, and small service companies, especially teams that value on-premises deployment and printing workflows. Access from China is unknown. Payments are prepaid in AUD and include GST, but payment methods such as credit card or bank transfer are not disclosed. If using it in China, users would still need to assess network connectivity, tax requirements, Chinese-language UI support, local maps, and invoice compliance. Alternatives include ServiceM8, Tradify, Fergus, simPRO, and Jobber; in China, options to consider include DingTalk/Yida, WeCom work orders, or local inventory-sales-after-sales systems.
