Organizational Orientation and Core Mission

PAG-ASA is a non-profit public welfare organization headquartered in Belgium. Its core work is to provide comprehensive long-term assistance and support to victims of human trafficking within Belgium's territory. It also delivers training on identifying and assisting human trafficking victims for professional groups that may come into contact with survivors, and helps the general public recognize human trafficking risks. Its ultimate goal is to eliminate human trafficking, this modern form of slavery, in Belgium.
With nearly 30 years of frontline service experience, the organization supports around 270 victims annually and has served more than 1,750 survivors cumulatively. It provides full-process long-term support including shelter accommodation, translation assistance, and social integration support. A typical assistance cycle lasts 3 to 5 years, and its services are accessible 24/7.

Service Model and Features

All assistance services the organization provides to victims are completely free, with operating costs funded by donations. It also opens up multiple channels for public involvement: individual donations, volunteer participation, and job applications. Its services cover victims of all types of human trafficking, including sexual exploitation, labor exploitation, forced begging, organ harvesting, and forced criminality.
